The next installment of our Meet the Blogger series comes from Hannah. Not only do we love her dreamy photographs and adore her great style, but did we mention she's a Zoology student. Read on to find out more..
Ok, first up who is 'Foxtail and Fern'?
Foxtail and Fern is a fashion and lifestyle blog written by myself, a student at the University of Edinburgh, lover of all things old and thrifted.
How long have you been blogging, and what made you want start it in the first place?
I think I've been blogging for a bit less than three years now. I wanted to start my own blog after being inspired by other blogs I randomly stumbled across some time in 2008.
What inspires your blog posts?
A lot of things I guess. Sometimes it'll be something I've bought from a charity shop or car boot sale, or even a photo I've seen somewhere online.
How would you describe your style?
Simple and vintage-inspired.
What three items could you not live without?
My tote bags, ballet pumps and my macbook.
What do you get up to when you're not blogging?
If it's term time then I'll be busy studying (my course is zoology) and if not then you'll often find me working at a nursing home where I've been part-timing for a few years now. As far as hobbies go, usually you'll find me thrifting, taking photos or sewing. Hanging out with my friends and boyfriend too of course! I also like to go ice-skating when I can.
Tell us something no one else knows about you...
I'm a pretty open person so this is kind of hard for me to answer! I'll give you something the blogging world doesn't know about me... I love to eat peanut butter and strawberry jam on toast but I'm really fussy about it and can't have them both on the same piece of bread. Instead I butter one slice with peanut butter and one slice with jam and then take alternate bites, ha.
