We were first introduced to Michelle's blog when she wrote a lovely feature for us last year, and we've been hooked ever since. Read on to find out a little more about the girl behind the blog...
Ok, first up who is Daisybutter? Daisybutter started as a revamped, fashion version of a MySpace blog and graphic design site that I ran way back in the day. I can't remember how I chose the name, but avid Harry Potter enthusiasts might have a clue! Daisybutter is a UK based fashion and personal style, full of outfit photos, inspiration and styling tips/ideas thrown in for good measure.
How long have you been blogging, and what made you want start it in the first place?
I've been blogging on and off since about 2007, but Daisybutter really came into its' own in January 2010. I started it after having read a few of the 'big' blogs religiously, and I even documented my outfits on a fashion forum; starting this blog seemed like a natural progression!
What inspires your blog posts?
Things that catch my eye, things that I'd potentially read about, outfits that have helped to improve my mood in some way for that day, anything goes really!
How would you describe your style?
I would describe my style as mostly classic, sometimes a little eclectic and kitsch/cutesy, with lots of layers and textures.
What three items can you not live without?
My phone, a good skin moisturiser and coffee!
What do you get up to when you're not blogging?
Usually at Uni, perusing Topshop (in-store and online - whoops!) or cosying up with a good book or film.
Tell us something no one else knows about you...
I really like to alphabetise! Bookshelves, magazines, even the bookmarks bar on my laptop. I think I have a problem...
And lastly, what's your favourite thing about Winter?
Having an excuse to wear all of my favourite knits and to pass up nights out for hot chocolate evenings
