What we're Listening To...

Music that has haunting airs and swirling emotion is perfect for this moody season and without any further ado let us introduce you to Ben Howard (not that we don’t absolutely already love this beaut of an artist!) and his new EP recently released Burgh Island.

We adored Ben’s debut album Every Kingdom and before long many of the folk-loving populace, like us, had purchased their copy and were playing it from wedding ceremonies to those needing acoustic comfort on their daily travels through the aid of iPods and ear phones. When we heard he was going to be releasing a completely new never-heard-before EP we literally couldn’t wait to hear what gems this wonderful man would be bestowing upon us!

The wait need no longer be waited for Burgh Island is now out and features four stunningly dark songs Esmerelda, Oats In The Water, To Be Alone and ‘Burgh Island’.

Watch the dramatic new video Esmerelda from the new EP.

You can see Ben Howard playing live if you’re lucky enough to get tickets bought in advance for his November 28 gig at the O2 Academy in Brixton. Burgh Island can be purchased from iTunes.
